Amidst Washington, DC’s iconic landmarks and world-renowned attractions, Events DC’s Sports and Entertainment Division brings world-class sports, entertainment, cultural and hospitality events to the District while promoting the metropolitan region as a premier destination.

Throughout the year, Events DC is actively involved in planning and support of some of the city's most anticipated events, attracting thousands of attendees to locations around the city. As varied and diverse as the city itself, these events bring economic impact to our nation's capital while offering a wealth of can't-miss dates on the social calendar for District residents and visitors alike.
Top-tier sporting events on our properties include Major League and Soccer’s four-time MLS Cup-champion D.C. United at RFK Stadium. Nationals Park is home to the Washington Nationals, while the DC Armory hosts the DC Rollergirls, a flat-track roller derby league, the health and fitness expos for the Marine Corps Marathon, the Army Ten-Miler and the Rock 'n' Roll USA Marathon.

Events DC also hosts a broad range of events on the Festival Grounds, including the ShamrockFest, as well as a number of activities designed to promote youth sports and fitness in the District of Columbia, such as the annual Congressional Bank Baseball Classic, featuring the city’s best high school teams and players. 

Our capabilities are not limited to hosting big events. Events DC hosts scores of smaller scale events in our venues including galas, meetings, trade shows, private of all sizes.
