dedicated to the promotion and recognition of excellence in research, patient care, public health, disease prevention, and education in the field of
infectious diseases and associated disciplines.
IDSA has numerous affiliated events that are scheduled before and after the meeting and at specific times during the annual meeting. IDSA must
approve all requests for space and make the space assignments, therefore, hotels must be willing to include considerable meeting space for such
purposes in the IDSA housing contracts, much of it needed on the front end, beginning two days prior. The affiliated groups include
pharmaceutical companies and sister societies.
