USA Science & Engineering Festival Celebrates Tomorrow’s Innovators at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center

The USA Science & Engineering Festival, the country’s only national science festival, will be held at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center on Saturday, April 26 – Sunday, April 27, 2014.  The Festival seeks to engage the nation’s youth and encourage them to pursue careers in technology, science, engineering and STEM.  The 3rd annual festival is a free, family-friendly event that will highlight prominent leaders in the field, such as Bill Nye the Science Guy, many notable celebrities, 100 live stage performances and more than 3,000 hands-on activities – for all ages.  The USA Science & Engineering Festival seeks to celebrate science—similar to how many celebrate celebrities—and to inspire the next generation of scientists and engineers in the United States.
