National Book Festival 2022

September 3, 2022 - September 4, 2022

The Library of Congress National Book Festival is an annual literary event that brings together best-selling authors and thousands of book fans for author presentations, conversations, book signings and more at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C. The event is free and open to the public. A selection of programs will be livestreamed online, and videos of all presentations will be available after the Festival. Since the first National Book Festival on Sept. 8, 2001, the Festival has become one of the most prominent literary events in the United States. The Festival is funded by donors and corporate sponsors who share the Library’s commitment to reading and literacy. Since 2010, David M. Rubenstein has served as the National Book Festival Co-Chairman.
