For the second year, the Entertainment & Sports Arena played host to the District of Columbia Interscholastic Athletic Association (DCIAA) basketball championships where the top boys and girls teams battled it out on the Washington Mystics’ home court. 

For the second consecutive year, Dunbar High School took home the girls’ championship, and the Theodore Roosevelt High School boys team won their first title since 2014.
