Events DC was proud to host the second annual Holiday Hoops Fest, a clash of high-quality NCAA mid-major men’s college basketball programs at the Entertainment and Sports Arena in Washington, D.C. on December 20 – 22.

This year’s edition featured eight universities from around the country– University of Akron, William & Mary, Tulane University, Radford University, Richmond University, Towson University, Liberty University and Saint Francis University. The three-day event featured a tournament style format on December 20 and 21 followed by a four-team doubleheader on the 22nd.

The red-hot Liberty Flames won the tournament format, improving to a school record 14-0 and remaining one the few unbeaten teams in NCAA Division 1. In Sunday’s action, St. Francis (PA) topped William & Mary while Radford upset University of Richmond to close out the event.
