National Cherry Blossom Festival
The National Cherry Blossom Festival (March 20 – April 12) has food, fun, culture and entertainment for all ages. The four-week festival celebrates the enduring friendship between the people of the United States and Japan with diverse and creative programming. We are excited to continue to sponsor this historic festival and welcome our residents and tourists from around the world to experience the cherry blossoms and signature events.
March Madness is Coming to Washington, DC
Washington, DC and Capital One Arena will host the 2026 D1 NCAA Men’s Basketball East Regional - featuring Sweet 16 and Elite 8 matchups. Tickets are now available for purchase to the 2026 D1 Men’s Basketball East Regional in Washington, DC, March 27 and 29.
Two Records, One Night
On Saturday, February 21, 2026, the Edward Jones Capital Showcase between the Duke Blue Devils and Michigan Wolverines set the record for the highest attended college basketball game at a neutral site this season and at Capital One Arena.
