The Giant Cherry Blossom sculptures have returned to permanent locations in all eight wards of DC and beyond! We've included a map to help you locate all the Art in Bloom locations.

Day of Play at RFK
Join us for a Day of Play at RFK on Tuesday, April 12 from 12 – 4 PM, with your friends, family, or neighbors during Spring Break 2022. Events DC will host this free, field-based event to gather adults and youth in DC for a day of fun, family-friendly competition, featuring music, food trucks and activities for all ages.
Assemble your squad of friends, teammates, or family and create your team of adults, youth, or both and come play!
Teams can be co-ed. Registration is required, but free. All youth must be accompanied by an adult over the age of 18. Register here.

Spring Festivals at RFK Campus
Events DC is proud to host a wide spectrum of major festivals and events at the RFK Campus this spring, marking a much-anticipated return of large-scale, outdoor festivals and celebrations. We look forward to bringing together residents and visitors from across the city and around the world for dynamic and diverse event experiences across music, sports, culture and more.
United Airlines Rock ‘n’ Roll Running Series – March 26, 2022
This years event features a half-marathon and 5k with a finish-line festival on the RFK Campus.
Day of Play at RFK – April 12, 2022
The Fields at RFK come alive with a community-oriented field day for residents of all ages featuring food, games, music and more. The event is free, but registration is required.
National Cannabis Festival – April 23, 2022
The National Cannabis Festival will feature live performances from Whiz Khalifa, Lettice, Dupont Brass among others.
Project GLOW Festival – April 30-May 1, 2022
A new, 2-day electronic music festival, Project GLOW will honor two decades of DC dance culture. Over 30 artists including Above & Beyond, Seven Lions, John Summit, GRiZ and more will come together across 2 stages to celebrate the District’s unique dance history.
Broccoli City Festival – May 7-8, 2022
The 8th annual Broccoli City Festival will take place over two days for the first time ever and feature performances by Ari Lennox, Summer Walker, Jeezy, Wale, 21 Savage, Larry June and more.
Events DC continues to play an important role in the city to actively promote, empower and invest in marquee partnerships across the District of Columbia including the annual National Cherry Blossom Festival. The 2022 National Cherry Blossom Festival events kicked off Sunday March 20 with the Festival’s Opening Ceremony, followed by the Blossom Kite Fly on Saturday, March 26. Other programing events include: the Petal Porch Parade, Cherry Night and the Pink Tie Party.

Community Grant Spotlight
SOUL Program, also known as Student-Athletes Organized to Understand Leadership Program, is based in Ward 6. They connect high school-aged youth involved in sports to assist students with their academic, interpersonal, and professional development. Since 2013, they have supported youth from neighborhoods of Clay Terrace and schools such as Spingarn Senior High School, HD Woodson STEM High School, and Luke C. Moore Senior High School. As an Events DC Community Grant recipient (FY2022, Cycle 1), they were awarded for IMPACT Sportsmanship Institute: Collegiate Student-Athlete Social Impact Incubator program. This program exposes and empowers IMPACT Fellows to create and implement social impact initiatives that impact DC communities.
