Washington, DC’s landmark RFK Stadium is conveniently located just off I-295, about two miles east of the U.S. Capitol Building near the west bank of the scenic Anacostia River. Scheduled to be razed in 2021, the Stadium continues to play host to unique local events like the District’s newest pop-up drive-in movie theater.
Visitors can head to nearby Barracks Row and Capitol Hill to sample some of the District’s best dining, drinks, shopping and entertainment. The Fields, Skate Park and Festival Grounds at RFK Campus and Kingman and Heritage Islands are also right next door.
