Fields
The Fields at RFK Campus feature three, state-of-the-art multi-purpose turf fields to accommodate kickball, soccer, lacrosse, baseball, softball and more.
Go Play is responsible for managing the scheduling and field operations to ensure the proper utilization of the complex for sports clubs, leagues, individuals and other groups seeking to rent and/or use the space.

Pavilion
The Celebration Pavilion near Field 2 is a covered, paved outdoor space of more than 3,000 square feet that can be rented on an hourly basis for parties, meetings, classes, and other social/cultural events.

Playground and Picnic Area
The playground area is for youth ages 12 and under, with adult supervision. Patrons may hold small birthday parties and other informal events in the adjacent picnic area, which may also be reserved, free of charge. For more information, please visit the Playground and Picnic Area page.

Adult fitness equipment is available in areas adjacent to the playing fields.
Bike and Running Trails
The Anacostia Riverwalk Trail runs directly adjacent to The Fields at RFK. The Anacostia Riverwalk Trail offers over 15 miles of separated, multiuse trails along or connecting to the Anacostia River in DC and Maryland. A bulk of the trail network features wide multiuse paths that are perfect for walking, bicycling, running or your preferred non-motorized mode of transit. Kingman and Heritage Islands
Kingman and Heritage Islands offer a natural refuge from the busy city – in the middle of the Anacostia River. The northern half of Kingman Island is part of Langston Golf Course, but the southern half of the island is accessible to the public for hiking, biking, birding, dog-walking, fishing, picnicking, photography and more. You can access Kingman Island by a footbridge located adjacent to the Anacostia Riverwalk Trail along the northern section of The Fields at RFK. (map). The island is open from dawn until dusk.
Disc Golf Pop Up
Go Play hosts pop-up disc golf on the Oklahoma Ave. lawn at RFK campus. Novices, beginners and pros are welcome at the District’s free, first and only disc golf course. The course is open 8 am to dusk, seven days a week. You can borrow discs (please leave a photo ID), scorecards and pencils at The Fields office in Lot 7.
