National Cherry Blossom Festival Presented by Events DC

The National Cherry Blossom Festival Parade presented by Events DC made its in-person return on Saturday, April 9. The parade was filled with great performances from artists like Taylor Dane, Freddie Jackson, Grand Marshal, Laz Alonzo, and many more! 

The Events DC Float hosted local favorites like Ariel Atkins, Myisha Hines-Allen, and Shatori Walker-Kimbrough with the Washington Mystics, the DC Youth Mayor, Addison Rose, and Secretary of DC, Kimberley Basset. The float also featured DC’s premier Go-Go band, Rare Essence, that brought the funk down 10 blocks of Constitution Avenue!

The Cherry Blossom Parade is one of DC’s largest spectator events, showcasing grand balloons, elaborate floats, celebrity entertainers, and more! Events DC is proud to sponsor this DC favorite and was thrilled to see residents and visitors enjoying one of the many unique features of Washington, DC!
