Jacqueline White, Events DC’s manager for the Office of the President and COO, was a finalist for this year’s Admin Awards’ Loyalty Award.
The Admin Awards, held at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Washington, DC, is the administrative profession’s highest honor. The awards are the first and only public recognition program of its kind in the country that focuses specifically on rewarding the achievements, dedication and importance of administrative professionals.
“Jacquie’s dedication and passion in serving the needs of others is evident within Events DC internally, among her colleagues, the executive leadership team and our Board of Directors, as well as externally through the millions of guests coming into our facilities from across the world,” said Events DC Interim President and CEO Samuel Thomas. “It is with tremendous pride when I say congratulations to her being a finalist for the Loyalty Award and offer my gratitude for Jacquie being a part of the Events DC team for the past 15 years.”
White, who has been in the administrative profession for more than 30 years, has held several administrative positions during her tenure at Events DC including executive assistant and senior executive assistant.
“Jacquie is revered among her colleagues for not only her professionalism, but also her dedication to helping them reach the next level of their careers,” said Lashell Mindingall, Sr. Director, Administrative Services and Performance Excellence Division at Events DC. “She is reliable and always maintains a pleasant disposition. From ensuring all of the Summer Youth employees learned about every department of Events DC to encouraging her colleagues to join the International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP) when she led the Events DC’s Administrative Professionals Meeting, White seeks to grow her team professionally and personally.
