Day of Play at RFK

The Community Engagement Team will host Day of Play at RFK on Tuesday, April 12, at The Fields at RFK from 12 – 4 PM. Day of Play is the first Events DC-produced activation at The Fields since its opening in June 2019! The fun-filled afternoon will have a host of group field games such as kickball, flag football, and soccer; and competitive games including tug of war, bean bag toss, and obstacle relays for all ages. This event encourages attendees to participate in physical and fitness activities through sports and workouts. Along with the field games, we will add to the fun with a DJ and art activations; and feature some of DC’s new and favorite food trucks. Day of Play will feature community partners such as DC Fray and CRYSP, activations from DC’s Professional Sports Teams, and partners such as Pepsi and Washington Gas.
