Following the District's Chief Financial Officer's revised revenue estimate released on September 29, 2023, the District directed $20 million to Events DC for monetary assistance to District of Columbia workers who by reason of their immigration/employment status did not have access to COVID-19-related public relief programs. That funding has been transferred to our program administrator for the DC CARES Excluded Workers program, who, in coordination with Events DC, is confirming agreements with community partners that will assist with community outreach and monetary distribution.
