Walter E. Washington Convention Center: Streetscape Project
Events DC has launched several short, medium and long-term initiatives for the WEWCC, including a new Streetscape project that will transform the exterior of the Convention Center with new lighting, world-class art, retail kiosks, planters, furnishings, and more. Reaffirming Events DC’s commitment to local businesses in the Shaw neighborhood, this vibrant new space will secure tenants in the surrounding area while creating authentic experiences for visitors and residents, both inside and outside of the Convention Center.
