Washington, DC’s newest comedy festival, Because They’re Funny, was nominated as one of 19 best new national festivals by an expert panel for USA Today’s Readers’ Choice 2024.
The Because They’re Funny Comedy Festival debuted in October 2023 and filled The Wharf with laughter, improv shows and classes.
The District festival is listed with other new food, music and cultural celebrations throughout the nation. Readers can vote once a day for whichever festival they think is best until Monday, December 25 at noon. The winners will be announced on Friday, January 5 at noon.
