The latest addition to the Congress Heights community, the Entertainment and Sports Arena, officially opened to DC residents and visitors on September 22. We were very excited to see your faces and proud to celebrate this milestone with you during our Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony that day.
Two weeks later, we kicked off our three-part, two-weekend, Grand Opening concerts with headliners Wale, Mary J. Blige and Cage the Elephant. Thank you to everyone who purchased a ticket and made this concert series a successful and a multi-day sellout!
Since the Arena’s opening, we’ve held everything from concerts and Professional Fighters League matches to Capital City Go-Go games and the recent Red Bull Conquest esports competition finals. Mark your calendars so you don’t miss any of the Go-Go home games in their first season or DC Fight Night in December.
