Events DC Camp Zen is a free outdoor community event for all ages centered around holistic healing and development in Ward 8. This year we are collaborating with Sycamore & Oak to host Camp Zen, which will feature a variety of fun outdoor camp activities including a petting zoo, yoga, arts & crafts, and much more! For 2026, the theme for Camp Zen is Chocolate City to celebrate the rich history of Washington, DC. Activations will be curated to highlight different aspects of DC. The event’s purpose is to promote peace and positivity by empowering the community. Camp Zen will provide a safe space for creativity to thrive through nostalgic camp activities for everyone.
All food, activities and giveaways are on a first come, first served basis.
