Colonial Athletic Association Basketball Championship

The Colonial Athletic Association Men's Basketball Championship returns to the Entertainment & Sports Arena in Washington, D.C. to crown a CAA champion in March 2022. Nine CAA teams visit the nation's capital with the conference's automatic qualifier to the NCAA Tournament on the line. Charleston, Delaware, Drexel, Elon, Hofstra, UNCW, Northeastern, Towson, and William & Mary will compete in the CAA Championship, which begins with a First Round game on March 5 and continues with four Quarterfinal contests on March 6. The March 7 Semifinals will set the stage for the title game on Tuesday, March 8, with a spot in the Field of 68 at stake.
