KOP Mardi Gras Parade & Fiyah Festival

Events DC has partnered with the Krewe of Pyros Foundation, Inc, a New Orleans-style carnival club to bring Mardi Gras to Washington, DC with a Parade on Saturday, August 8 at 10:00 am. The parade is complete with floats, marching bands, and brass bands from DC and Louisiana. Spectators of all ages can expect to "catch" parade giveaways all along the route.
After the parade, Downtown DC BID is bringing the official after party, "Krewe of Pyros Fiyah Festival at Anthem Row" featuring New Orleans' own, Mannie Fresh from 12:00 pm - 6:00 pm.
