Join Events DC at our Summer Movie Series at The Wharf - Transit Pier (970 Wharf Street SW, Washington, DC 20024) on Tuesday, August 6. This free event will feature Elemental (2023), favorite movie snacks and light fare, fun activities, and a DJ. Limited Adirondack chairs are available on a first-come first-served basis starting at 7:30 p.m. It is encouraged to bring your own lawn blanket or chair.

Carnegie Library Lawn
Wednesday, August 14 at 6 p.m.
Join Events DC at our Summer Movie Series at the Carnegie Library Lawn (located directly in front of the Walter E. Washington Convention Center) on Wednesday, August 14. Beginning at 6 p.m., this free event will feature Disney’s "Wish" (2023), favorite movie snacks and light fare, fun activities, a DJ, community resources and raffle drawings. Feel free to bring a lawn blanket or chair to sit on the grass and enjoy the movie which will promptly begin at 8 p.m. All food and giveaways are on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Thursday, August 15 at 6 p.m.
Join us at 6 p.m. at DC Armory Lawn (2001 East Capitol Street, SE) on Thursday, August 15, for a disco party, Barbie-fied activities, and complimentary refreshments (while they last). At dusk, we will feature the Barbie movie! It is encouraged to bring your own blankets and lawn chairs. Parking is available in Lot 3 near the DC Armory.

The Little Mermaid
Gateway DC
Friday, September 6 at 5 p.m.
This movie will take place during the Events DC Camp Zen at the Gateway Pavilion which will feature a variety of fun outdoor camp activations including a petting zoo, yoga, pony rides, arts & crafts, and many more! Since it is a camp theme, the event will end with The Little Mermaid Movie (2023) shown at 8 p.m. to conclude the event. The event’s purpose is to promote peace and positivity by empowering the community.
The rain date will be Saturday, September 7.
