Events DC, the official convention and sports authority of Washington, DC, will present the second annual Legends Ball at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center on Saturday, November 15, 2025. The event is the latest program presented by Events DC for the District’s legend community (DC residents aged 60+). This year’s theme is “A Night at the Cabaret” and the event will feature live entertainment, hand dancing and more.
“The annual Legends Ball is dedicated to honoring the legacy of the District’s residents who contributed to shaping Washington, DC into the vibrant city it is today,” said Events DC President and CEO Angie M. Gates. “This year, we will proudly celebrate the golden era of glamour, music and movement with a cabaret-themed event. I invite you to join us for an unforgettable evening that recognizes our legends.”
To make this event a success Events DC partnered with the District Department of Aging and Community Living and Department of Parks and Recreation.
The Legends Ball follows Legends Games Nights, held during the first two weeks of November in all four quadrants of the District. Game nights feature dancing, classic board and card games, digital and arcade games, crafts, fellowship and more.
