This August the Walter E. Washington Convention Center hosted the first annual ADG Moneyball Tournament for a one-of-a-kind showcase with the nation’s top youth basketball players. Eight elite teams competed, each sponsored by NBA icons Steph Curry, Kevin Durant, Carmelo Anthony, Trae Young, Quinn Cook, Victor Oladipo and Montrezl Harrel. The three-day event featured action-packed games, three-point shoot-out and a dunk contest for the books!

DC World Reggae Festival returned to the RFK Festival Grounds this August! The event featured longtime Jamaican singer Beres Hammond, Nigerian favorite Tiwa Savage, Barbados soca vocalist Rupee, Cameroonian singer and rapper Naomi Achu, D.C.-based Haitian band Lokal and others. The event featured live music, Afro-Caribbean food, an art showcase, Kids Zone and more!
