On November 21, Dupont Festival in partnership with Events DC and the Welsh Government presented “Soccer in the Circle”, a cultural celebration of soccer and sports diplomacy.

It took place in Dupont Circle National Park, where more than two thousand people from Welsh and American communities came together to enjoy the live broadcast of USA vs. Wales in their first game of the FIFA World Cup 2022.

The 23rd Annual Safeway Feast of Sharing themed “Sharing, Caring and Reconnecting” was held at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center on November 23rd. This citywide community event has been presented by Events DC on Thanksgiving Eve since its inception in 1999 and is cosponsored by Safeway, Truist Bank, The Salvation Army, Unity Health Care, and Events DC service partners Aramark, Projection, Digital Conventions, and Hi-Tech Electrical.
