Event FAQs
Do I need youth to participate?
Adults, aged 18 and over, may participate in Day of Play without a youth. There are activities dedicated to adults.
Why do I have to select a t-shirt color?
Your t-shirt color signifies your team. From 12 - 3 PM, there will be open play games where attendees can play with/against people from different teams. From 3 - 4 PM, your team will compete against the others to be the Champions of Play! This year, to celebrate DC 250, the team colors are blue, red and white.
Is there onsite registration?
How do I volunteer?
Volunteers should submit their request to the volunteer form.
How do I become a vendor for Day of Play?
Please Contact Us to request information on how to be a vendor at Day of Play.
What is allowed on The Fields?
Food and beverages are permitted in the Pavilion, picnic tables and natural grass areas. They are not permitted on the playing fields or any turf areas. Only water is allowed on the playing fields.
May I bring my pet?

Owners are required to leash and clean up after their pets at all times. Dogs are NOT permitted on the turf playing fields or the playground.
Is there a lost and found?
