On behalf of the National Symphony Orchestra and Events DC, we would like to invite you to this year’s program NSO "In Your Neighborhood - East of the River" with a full orchestra concert on Thursday, September 22, at the Entertainment & Sports Arena. Conducted by Kellen Gray, the vibrant program includes Jessie Montgomery’s Strum, Carlos Simon’s This Land, and Arturo Marquez’s Danzón No. 2. The concert will also pay homage to the development of Go-Go in D.C. with genre-bending arrangements of Beethoven and Strauss. The performance is free to the public, entry is not guaranteed and first come- first served. The performance will start at 7:30 PM. Join us for a final full orchestra concert, celebrating community and music “east of the river”. Arrive early to enjoy pre-concert festivities starting at 6:00 PM.
