PASSPORT DC STAMP COLLECTION AND PRIZING – OFFICIAL RULES
1. NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN OR CLAIM PRIZE. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. ODDS OF WINNING DEPEND ON THE NUMBER OF ELIGIBLE ENTRIES RECEIVED.
2. ELIGIBILITY: The Passport DC Stamp Collection (the “Promotion”), conducted by the Washington Convention and Sports Authority t/a Events DC, is open only to legal residents of the United States who are twenty-one (21) years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees of Events DC, its affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, and any immediate family members or household members of such employees are not eligible. Void where prohibited by law.
3. PROMOTION PERIOD: The Promotion begins on May 1, 2026, at 12:01 a.m. EST and ends on May 31, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. EST.
4. HOW TO ENTER:
- App Entry: Download the free Events DC app and register a complete user account. Earn points via digital “stamps” by visiting participating locations as defined in the app.
- Entry Limit: One (1) entry per person/e-mail address/household during the Promotion.
5. POINT ALLOCATION: Points are for promotional purposes only, have no cash value, are non-transferable, and are awarded based on activity as follows:
- 100 Points: Participants will earn 100 Points per check-in at the Dupont Circle information tent and the UDC Student Center lobby (both on May 2, 2026 for the Around the World Embassy Tour), Participating Embassies as identified in the app, Participating Restaurants as identified in the app, and various International Cultural Programs such as Fiesta Asia.
- Single-Visit Limitation: Excluding the Embassy of Ukraine, which as identified in the app, is eligible for points on both May 2, 2026, and May 9, 2026, Participants may only earn points for one (1) check-in per unique location during the Promotion Period. Subsequent visits or check-ins at the same location (e.g., visiting the same embassy or restaurant twice) will not result in additional points.
6. PRIZE STRUCTURE AND WINNER SELECTION:
- Main Prize: One (1) ticket to the 2026 RAMMYs. Awarded to the participant with the highest total number of points. In the event of a tie in points, the winner will be selected via random drawing (raffle) among all tied participants.
- Tier 1 Raffle (> 2,500 Points): Two (2) Giant Gift Cards. Awarded via random drawing from all participants with more than 2,500 points.
- Tier 2 Raffle (< 2,500 Points): All remaining prizes (luggage scales, luggage tags, travel packing square sets, and outdoor kits). Awarded via random drawing from all participants with fewer than 2,500 points.
- Winner Selection Date: June 15, 2026.
7. PRIZES AND APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUE (“ARV”): Limit one (1) prize per person/household. The prizes are subject to certain terms and conditions and restrictions may apply, as specified herein or as stated within the prize notification. Any difference between the stated ARV and actual value of prize(s) will not be awarded. A prize may not be sold, traded, or commissioned, and is not exchangeable, transferable, substitutable, or redeemable for cash except in Events DC’s sole discretion. Prize details and availability are subject to change. Events DC is not the supplier or guarantor of any prize(s), unless otherwise specified. A third party may fulfill the prizes. The prizes will only be awarded if properly claimed according to these Official Rules. All costs and expenses related to the prize acceptance, the prize(s), and/or prize use not specified herein as being provided are solely the responsibility of the winner(s).

- (10) Luggage Scales: ARV $12.00 each.
- (10) Luggage Tags: ARV $5.00 each.
- (20) Travel Packing Square Sets: ARV: $20.00 each.
- (10) Outdoor Kits: ARV $13.00 each.
8. WINNER NOTIFICATION: Winners will be notified via the e-mail address provided at registration by June 15, 2026. Winners may be required to sign an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release. If a winner does not respond to the Winner Notification and/or fails to execute and return the Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release within five (5) business days following the date the respective notifications were sent, the prize may be forfeited. Events DC will never ask for credit card information, bank details, or the payment of any processing fees to claim a prize. All official communications will come exclusively from the verified @EventsDC account or an @eventsdc.com e-mail address.
9. PUBLICITY AND PRIVACY: Except where prohibited, participation constitutes consent to Events DC’s use of winner’s name and likeness for promotional purposes. Events DC will retain the entrant's personal data for a reasonable period of time to enable it to send that entrant any prize that they have won and to verify that these Official Rules have been complied with, and for accounting purposes. This data may be passed to a third party to enable such third party to fulfill any necessary requirements relating to the award of a prize. Personal data collected is subject to Events DC’s Privacy Policy found at https://eventsdc.com/privacy.
10. GENERAL CONDITIONS: Events DC reserves the right to cancel or modify the Promotion if fraud or technical failures compromise the integrity of the program.
11. TAXES: Any valuation of the prize(s) stated above is based on available information provided to Events DC, and the value of any prize awarded to a winner may be reported to the IRS as required by law. The winner is solely responsible for reporting and paying any and all applicable federal, state, and local taxes, related to prize acceptance and use not specified herein. The winner must provide Events DC with valid identification and, as applicable, a valid taxpayer identification number or social security number before any prize is awarded. Any person winning a prize from Events DC in a calendar year will be issued an IRS Form 1099 reporting the value of those prizes to the IRS.
12. RELEASES, CONDITIONS, AND LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: By participating in the Promotion, each entrant agrees to release and waive any and all claims of liability against Events DC, its employees, officers, Board of Directors, the District of Columbia and any applicable third-party fulfillment service (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from and against any and all liability, loss or damage (including personal injury or death) incurred with respect to the conduct of or participation in the Promotion, or the awarding, shipping/handling, receipt, possession, and/or use or misuse of any prize, including any travel related thereto. By accepting the prize(s), winner(s) hereby agrees: (a) to release each of the Released Parties from any and all claims in connection with the Promotion and the award or use of the prize(s); and (b) where allowed by law, to sign a publicity release confirming consent to use the winner’s name/likeness prior to acceptance of the prize.
13. BINDING ARBITRATION: Any controversy or claim arising out of or relating to the Promotion shall be settled by binding arbitration in the District of Columbia in accordance with the procedural rules for commercial disputes set forth in the Comprehensive Arbitration Rules and Procedures of JAMS (“JAMS Rules and Procedures”) then prevailing, and judgment upon the award rendered by the arbitrator(s) may be entered in any court having jurisdiction thereof. The arbitrator shall be selected pursuant to the JAMS Rules and Procedures. The arbitrator shall apply District of Columbia law consistent with the Federal Arbitration Act and applicable statutes of limitations and shall honor claims of privilege recognized at law.
14. GOVERNING LAW: All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of the Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of entrant and Events DC in connection with the Promotion, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the District of Columbia without giving effect to the conflict of laws rules thereof, and any matters or proceedings which are not subject to arbitration as set forth in these Official Rules and/or for entering any judgment on an arbitration award, shall take place in the District of Columbia.
