UPDATE: Due to the threat of inclement weather, the Fiesta Asia Street Fair has been postponed to Saturday, June 1. We look forward to celebrating with you then.

On Saturday, June 1 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., participants of all ages will enjoy a wide array of activities on the streets of Washington, DC. In its 19th year, the Fiesta Asia Street Fair will return as the longest-running, largest and most inclusive FREE Pan-Asian Heritage Festival in the region.

Fiesta Asia Street Fair will feature over 1,000 performers, artisans, entrepreneurs, food vendors and organizations on multiple stages representing more than 25 cultures for eight consecutive hours. There will be: live performances by musicians, vocalists, dancers, martial artists, a diverse array of Pan-Asian cuisine, an exciting shopping bazaar, kid-friendly interactive activities, an incredible talent competition, a lively cultural parade, pulsating street dancing, unique exhibits of traditional and contemporary Asian crafts and more!

Of note, this year’s food alley is one and a half times the size of last year’s, with quite a few new vendors from New York City. Also this year: the public can partake in learning and performing the dragon dance during the parade, or the ‘The Dragon Way’ line dance and sing your heart out at the Spotlight karaoke stage.

The "Ten Drum Art Percussion Group" from Taiwan will also be making their Washington, DC debut appearance at Fiesta Asia Street Fair. Ten Drum Art Percussion Group’s performances blend traditional Taiwanese percussion instruments with elements of modern performance art. Ten Drum Art Percussion Group’s works were nominated for the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards and they have won numerous honors and awards in the international percussion music scene, making it one of the most important representatives of Taiwanese cultural arts.

Additionally, Conjutsu & Fiesta Asia have partnered up to present the 2024 Fiesta Asia Cosplay contest, spearheaded by Conjutsu. The best cosplay character wins a $100 cash prize.
